“So much has happened in the world… and yet, nothing is happening in
the world. We’re all waiting.”
Some time ago, on my way to work, I wished that I could work from home… this new stay at home order was not really what I had in mind. (Very small home office below.)
I’m navigating this new “normal” best as I can, best as any of us can, and keeping the faith. I just don’t know if I’m using this time wisely. We always want more time to do the things we want to do. Now that I have it, I can’t seem to get motivated.
I do spend lots of time daydreaming. Mostly when I think of fitting in the dress I bought for my son’s upcoming (October) wedding. I like to daydream that I’m the same size I was in high school. In my mind, (while I’m eating a bag of chips mind you), I’m very fit. Here’s the dress, and I look just like this person while I’m wearing it. (Don’t forget… In my mind. Oh, that’s my hair too!)
So, I’ll just sit here sipping my coffee, looking out the window, and daydreaming about better days to come. God bless us all and keep us safe.
